Sustainability and Carbon Reduction

Climate change is a pressing issue that affects us all, including Custom Planet. By implementing a robust carbon management plan and focusing on carbon reduction initiatives, we are making a significant impact on reducing our environmental footprint.

One key aspect of our sustainability efforts is working with sustainable suppliers who share our commitment to reducing carbon emissions. By sourcing sustainable products and materials, we can further contribute to a greener future for our planet.

At Custom Planet Ltd, we understand why climate change matters and are dedicated to taking action to ensure a more sustainable future for generations to come.

Custom Planet Ltd is committed to achieving Net Zero emissions by 2028.

Some of the actions we have already taken;

• ISO14001 Environmental Management Standard
• Adoption of LED lighting throughout our offices and factory
• Electric company cars
• Reduced travel via use of meetings software (Zoom, Teams etc)
• 100% renewable energy supplied to our office and factory
• Cycle to work scheme for employees
• Increased use of eco-friendly suppliers and products

Future measures we will be taking over the next few years;

• Converting our van fleet to electric
• Increasing further our use of sustainable suppliers and products
• Offsetting any remaining Carbon by planting trees and using other initiatives
• Encouraging more sustainable practices to suppliers, employees and the public in general

Emissions reporting and reduction targets;

Although our baseline report is taken from 2023 we have been early adopters of methods to reduce our carbon footprint via the initiatives listed above.  This is reflected in our baseline report shown below.

In order to continue our progress to achieving Net Zero, we have adopted the following reduction targets.
We project that carbon emissions will decrease over the next five years to Zero tCO₂e by 2028.
